De Leidse Rechtswinkel
The objective of this project was to redesign the website for the Leidse Rechtswinkel, a non-profit organization, with a focus on aligning the site with its target audience. The organization provides free legal services.
The law firm located in Leiden, sought to enhance accessibility by offering the site in both English and Arabic to better cater to its diverse user base.
Additionally, I incorporated essential SEO optimization tools, as the previous site lacked these features, and integrated analytics for tracking user engagement and performance.
UX Design
I was responsible for crafting relevant copy and implementing animations to improve the user interface (UI) and create a more engaging experience.
Design & branding
Using WordPress and Divi Builder, I redesigned the site’s layout, ensuring brand consistency by adapting the color palette to match their new logo and adjusting the visual elements, including recent photography, to create a cohesive and visually appealing design.
Usability testing
To evaluate the user experience (UX), I conducted A/B testing on the design without the finalized copy to gauge the site's look and feel. The primary goal was to ensure that users would feel welcomed and invited to use the free legal advice services provided by the organization, fostering a sense of trust and inclusivity.
This design approach focused on enhancing both usability and emotional engagement, ensuring the website’s accessibility, brand identity, and user satisfaction.
