BangsaDunia
For this project I redesigned the website for the charity association BangsaDunia. The aim was to inspire and inform the users about BangsaDunia.
The purpose was to have a bigger outreach and to have more volunteers for BangsaDunia’s projects. The process started by reviewing their current website and asking for the design brief. Including inspiring pages, goals of the new website and target audience.
Contributions
I contributed fully and individually on this project, thus I had multiple meetings with the board and project manager to make sure we were on the same page every step of the way. Even though I was working on this project individually, I asked fellow UX designers, graphic designers and visual designers for feedback.
Learnings
During this project I learned how to research a user group that is not active and up to date with technology: elderly people. It was very inspiring to talk to them and their kids or caregivers to find out the essentials for this website. Additionally, I gave trainings how to build a website and edit the current website, so that the client could edit the websites themselves.
